Help us to “make the best even better” – donate to our campaign!

The new extension will benefit thousands of Sheffield students for many years to come. As a former student, we’d like to invite you to be part of it – by making a donation to the Students’ Union Campaign.

We are aiming to raise £75,000 for two parts of the building in particular: the relocation and refurbishment of the central information resource centre The Source; and the creation of a dedicated performance and exhibition space that can be used by all clubs and societies throughout the year. So your gifts will help to make the best even better!

Donations of all sizes are very welcome – particularly as the UK Government now adds 33p to every £1 you donate, through its Matched Funding for Universities Scheme. And if you’re a UK taxpayer we’ll receive an additional 28p to every £1 you donate through Gift Aid.

For instance, a £25 donation is actually worth £42.46 once matched funds and Gift Aid have been added.

If you’re able to make a donation of £1,000 or more, we’ll be pleased to recognise your contribution by including your name on our donor honour board. There are also recognition opportunities within the new building for leadership level donations – for more details please contact Ruth Stanley on 0114 222 1075 or email r.e.stanley@sheffield.ac.uk.
